Hi!

I think you took a great photo, the only thing is that you missed by a very small margin to get the plane better focused, I think that's why the photo was probably rejected, but I think you can make it next time. I also have a photo like that from a good old TU134A from Aviogenex / Yugoslavia taking-off from LIS, I was very lucky because the plane was completely focused and the rest of the scenery was like yours!
Regards

PHOTO SCREENER

how about kicking the file size down to about 1000 pixels wide and using some USM in photoshop?

x resize to 1024
x sharp it up
x give it some extra colours

Nice shot in general, but a bad scanning quality I find.

But once again, nice shot!

Frederic

Renato,

the composition itself is excellent, but the scanning quality is not good enough for this site. The dark parts of the plane are extremely grainy. There are also several dust spots all over the picture which can easily be removed with the cloning tool.

Another issue is the sharpness of the plane. It actually is quite hard to get tack-sharp panning shots, but they have to be sharper than yours. Try to resize your picture and then apply some unsharp mask (but watch the grain).

Good luck!
