I've decided that I'll be asking Santa for a new camera instead of a new computer for christmas, I feel that photography will be more interesting then becoming a computer nerd.
I've been looking around at Dpreview.com and for about 500$ US it looks like thise cam is a pretty good value. 3.24 MP and 6x optical with ability to attach other lenses...seems nice to me. I dunno though. Anybody have any advice?

Get the camera. It has amazing zoom capability, and a crisp 3MP picture. Great for spotting.

Thanks Hass, it looked nice, but I've already decided on an Olympus C-730UZ, which I found for about 450$. The Fuji only has 220mm zoom, while this cam I found has 10x optical (380mm). Also, I saw the Fuji doesnt have Manual focus? Is that true? It does have a nice price though, thanks..
