Hi all,
I uploaded this one several times but it get always rejected. (badscan, badcentered)
Though it was an interesting picture with that smoke and that condensation...

On the Sabena shot...time to move on. You cut off that chunk of wing and it is just not that unusual a shot.
Personally I like the other two shot, but they are missing that "something" that makes Anet quality. People with better tech skills can help you on that.

Well, to be honest, I like the A330 shot. You can almost hear the engines spool up...And let's not forget that pictures are all about memories, so I think that's why I like the A330 shot more than the other two...

Im with Ivan on this one, where as the condensation in the engines insn't rare (check Derek Pedley's pics at LHR) it's still a nice memory to keep

Sabena and Eva Air simply don't have enough sharpness in the detail. To be honest, I don't think photoshop will sort the problem out as they look more like scanning problems, or more possibly slightly soft original images. Move on with both - I doubt either are recoverable. The Hydro Air is definitely better though may benefit from a little more sharpening, although it has a rather strong colour cast that you should remove - out of interest, why was it rejected?

Hi Xenon,
I think I can see why the three pics were rejected. Just try to imagine you are a screener and then the reasons for rejection are more obvious ......
The Sabena has too much blank foreground and too much blank sky. I suggest you make the picture more of a letterbox format. The focus looks good to me.
The Eva Air is much too orange, this is something the screeners don't like.
Use your graphics program to make the whites more white (even if the lights were really orange!).
Same goes for the Hydro.
I like these pics and hope you get them on to a.net.

Nope. Read what I said above. Letterbox will make no difference - the composition isn't that good because the missing winglet makes the shot unbalanced. You could crop more tightly and loose both winglets (which could resolve the badcenter), but I doubt the original image will take the tighter crop. The real problem with this one however you crop it, as I said, is badscan and not sharp enough.

The last one has too much foreground and the pole that is in front of the 747 (to the left) makes it seem like the whole plane is squeezed into a tiny spot.
The second one is pretty dark and a bit grainy, which can be fixed through photoshop.
The first one is very good in my opinion; I really like the smoke and visible jet blast. There is a lot of foreground, however.
