Happy Holidays.
I would like to see some wide-angle shots, taking into the account the DSLR crop factor. Also, tell us what lens you used for the shot. I am looking at the Nikon 18-35 3.3/4.5 ED-IF AF-D but am wondering it fit is w i d e enough?

Royal,
You won't see much of a difference. I've used a fisheye on my D1X before, and it turned out fine. I've currently got a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 and I really don't notice much of a enlargement factor. These are two shots with my old Nikkor 24-120 f/3.5-5.6 Both taken at 24 mm.

Chris -
Thanks for the samples.
On the 12-24, who knows how long it will be until it goes to market? Best I can tell, when a company announces a product it can be several months to several years before it hits the streets. People have been talking for a year about the 70-200VR glass, and it wont be released until April 2003.
That said, the 12-24 would be perfect for my needs!
