Santa brought me a D30 for me to play with! Great camera, just a couple questions.
I put the camera on manual mode, and evaluative metering. I set the shutter speed, and when I go to adjust the aperture, it says I need to decrease exposure with the little box on the "-2". But I decrease it and decrease it to its limit, but it stays on the -2 and won't have proper exposure when I take the picture-it's pitch black. I know I'm probably doing something really stupid, but feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks guys. Normally I just shoot in manual mode as I feel I have more control, but auto works just fine.
