I just tried to upload my first picture onto A.net, of an SR-71 at the Strategic Air Command's museum in Nebraska. Sadly, it was rejected. I realize the standard for A.net is extremely high and many photos are rejected. I would appreciate if some of the more experienced photographers on the site would help me critique this picture. http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.cgi?1041887403:City
The reason cited for the rejection of this photo was 'quality.' Can anyone provide any insight as to what I can do to improve my quality or technique?

I would guess the rego looks a bit blurry because of the angle. It is quite an extreme angle from that headon position. But what do I know...
You might be right about the fact that museum pictures are rarely seen on a.net...In fact I don't know if I've seen more than 5 or so pics from a museum...

Love the angle Hurricane. Nice shot.
There's lots of museum shots on A.net. Do a search on "Preserved" in the categories: It returns 3,985 images !!! Where else can you find more than that? A search of "Museum" in Remarks returns 2,490 images.
Someone better qualified than myself will have to help with the image processing techniques.

AIRLINERS.NET CREW PHOTO SCREENER
I'm on my laptop @ the moment, but it seems a tad soft and maybe a wee bit overexposed.
I think it is a tough place to take a succesful shot, lots of clutter going on around the plane.
Imagine how people must have felt seeing the Sr71 for the first time, Almost 50! years ago.

5 of my 11 PICs are indoor museum shots, and from what I can tell (having had my share of rejections too) the issue could just be the uneven lighting provided by the framing on the atrium panels. It makes for a difficult shot. Just my 0.02

Thanks for the helpful comments, everyone.
Guess I'll have to haul myself back up to Nebraska and take another picture!
