Too much airport clutter and dust, and the tail is cut off but I love the light and reflection off the fuselage. I took this the same morning as

That one had a warning for low image quality, never could figure it out. Looking back on it now with a properly calibrated monitor, the contrast is way too low.

I had this one bumped:

I took a chance on uploading it because I figured the lens flare would not be to the liking of everyone. However, I thought there was something interesting about having a “beam of light” shining down on the name of the Big-J’s plane.

One of my more recent favourites that was rejected.

I love the wintry ground and the background, but was rejected for being soft.

Sunil - I really like the 707 shot above, very nice.

The JMC Air 757 is very nice.
Can't believe that it wasn't accepted.

I have to say the quality is not the best . . . I don't blame them for rejecting those photos. I just LIKE the photos.

Those are all nice shots. I could agree about the quality lacking, case of looks better on paper (or transparency) than on screen.

Dan - I think that photo is easily salvagable. Badsoft is a very easy rejection to improve, especially when you have a DSLR like yourself. All I did was apply Colin's sharpening action (160%), increased contrast and to a lesser extent brightness, and added more of a cyan tone.

    See what you think:

I can almost guarantee that it will get accepted.

    Cheers
