Hey I hope some of you can remember me. Anyway I'll be staying in the Chicago area for the next few months and on sundays when I've got free time I'd like to go do some spotting/shooting at O'Hare. If there's anyone in the Darien area perhaps we could go together since I need a ride there.

I'll be in Chicago next weekend too and was hoping to head down to ORD probably on Sunday. Is there any particular spot the "locals" recommend, somewhere hopefully with a little warmth.

Thanks

Bailey

BTW

Warm, Chicago and February can NOT be put in the same sentence! The only warmth the car heater hehe.

What about the 15th(Saturday)? I don't know about that Sunday cause I have go go to something. You know mabye we could spot at Meigs on the 22nd because there will be a Young Eagles rally there and mabye any of you who haven't been to Meigs or want to come down there can try to be there for spotting at the viewing area. I'm volunteering there and mabye you could see the airport near Downtown Chicago. This is just a suggestion if you want to see Miegs and get a couple of photos of planes there.

Doesn't really matter to me but I would like to go back to MDW and get some more shots. They got some great places to spot from and you can get Mexicana over there too.

I just got back from USA - Illinois">MDW / KMDW), USA - Illinois">USA - Illinois">MDW half an hour ago...damned cold and there wasent anything special. Since National and Vanguard went under MDWs variety has deterioriated. In the winter its very unlikely to see Mexicana as well...Heh. Personally, going to ORD / KORD), USA - Illinois">ORD on a Sunday is good. Cargo will come and some of the airlines that dont come on saturday.

Hassled by cops OF course.

Let me say that USA - Illinois">MDW / KMDW), USA - Illinois">USA - Illinois">MDW is kinda dead. There isnt really much going on there. I saw a bunch of SWA, ATA as usual + a bit of AirTran, USA)">DL, USA)">NW and a Frontier A319. I think ORD / KORD), USA - Illinois">ORD is the better choice personally. Just because LOT flies into ORD / KORD), USA - Illinois">ORD 2x daily pulls me in there. Florian: that first shot u posted is one I took. I was at the same spot again and got a couple more of those heh.

YKA: ill drop you a mail sometime this week.

LOT

Just look out for someone wandering around freezing his nuts off and that should be me. The 13 hour time difference takes a heavy toll but right now I fully intend to make it down to ORD.

Anyone there on Saturday don't forget the SIA B777 please.

Thanks
