Can someone confirm if the security alert is over? I've just received an email from one of the Yahoo groups saying that level 12 and 13 of the car parks are open. Is this true? If so what about southside?

Regards

Southside... I know of several people who were on the south side last weekend and had no problems...

Is runway 24L still closed between 1200 and 1500?

24L/6R is always closed between 1200 and 1500 (presumably unless for some reason 24R/6L has to be closed). This is a long term restriction on the use of the runway.

Isn't it something to do the environment or keeping the noise down for the locals?

It was a local agreement but it's not going to be a permanent thing - I believe the long-term (2005/2006) plan is for it to be used fully used. However, there have been some occasions when it has not closed at lunchtime.
