Does anyone knows if I can offer a digital pictures made by SLR camera to the magazines? I understand that slides are more welcome now, but may be some of you have already been published.
Actually the question is: Should I buy digital SLR camera, keeping in mind I'll offer my photos to aviation magazines?

Some aviation mags are starting to accept high-quality digitial photos in place of slides. However, most still reguire chromes. I would contact the magazine(s) you plan to submit photo(s) to and ask their requirements for digital files. Then, obtain a digital camera that is capable of producing the quality they are looking for. However, keep in mind, most ad agencies still require chromes. If you plan to shoot for magazines/news, a quality digital should be fine.
