A.net contributor Brian Stevenson has an article on Hooters Air in the April issue of Airways. For those of you who may have not yet seen the magazine, the article contains a number of stunning shots of Hooters girls posing with one of the airlines' aircraft. I for one am quite envious of Mr. Stevenson's access and the opportunity to spend a few hours shooting Hooters girls. I know any of us would love to be in his shoes. I salute you Brian, on a job well done.

I like it and also I liked the article about Joe Pries in the current issue of airliners magazine. It was good.

hmmm,

Is it me or did I pick up the wrong edition of Airways? In the April 2003 issue of Airways, it wasn't the Hooters Air article. I heard from subcribers it was in the MAY 2003 issue. Am I wrong? I forgot what the April 2003 issue of AIRWAYS is, the mag is in my car. I hope to get a copy of the Hooters Air issue soon before they're gone.

I read the article this morning in a local magazine store.

I thought it looked pretty good myself...I wonder what the onboard service will be like.

Apologies, the last post was a tad off topic and I forgot to "edit" before confirming the post...

I went to the local bookstore to find that the April issue was still on the shelves...am eagerly awaiting the May issue since Mr. Stevenson is a good buddy of mine.

The article about Joe was in Airliners I believe.
Makes you really want to get sick with all the gushing
over how great he is............I'm KIDDING !! Joe is a good
friend of mine and it was a great article about him and he
deserves a congratulations !!

I've got a shot of a Hawaiian Airlines B-717 in the latest issue
of Airliner World.

Congratualtions Brian, and Ryan! Love those Hooter's Air Picture!!!  Big thumbs up I thought the scan of picture/slide Airway do , it not as good as other magazines. This have been going on for months now. I can see all that grains...well, I think photographer have nothing to do with it, just how they do their job.

Jay also got a point, that JP article in Airliners was great, enjoyed all his classic shots, have a great chat with the editor, seems he admired Joe's photography mostly!!! I saw that Airliner issue in the newstand, but my subscription never came??  Sad

I've been a longtime subscriber to Airways and I also think they have a serious problem with scanning and printing since last year. I don't know if they use Digital as well. The paper used by Airliners is thicker which feels better when going thru the mag.
I hope they are going to deal with the issue because it's a great mag with good writers.
But I'm still waiting for the mail to get my May copy...
