I would like to know what you guys who have the F707 think about it.

I am thinking about buying one from Ebay for about 500 Euros, which in my opinion, is a very good price for it, even though its out of production. Currently I have a small cr*ppy Sony P71, but I want something with more functions and a camera which has higher quality. I dont feel like spending $2000 on a DSLR either.

All comments are appreciatied!

If your not fussed about a 1 sec time delay then go for it, it's a nice cam

Shaun,

You know you can use the burst of 3 shots that have no delay..  Laugh out loud But then it takes a crapload of time to save it on the memory stick when your shooting at 2560pixels

So far, I'm very happy with my F707. 500€ are not much for this superb camera. IF want more, you need a DSLR.

Get the F717!!! I just got mine less than a week ago and have been very happy with it. Although I have to agree the burst 3 thing really takes ages to get saved onto the Memory stick.

Well if you can get the 707 at a deal then go for it...the night feature is not that great....for my night shots i just open up the shutter longer. The "S" on the picture setting dial, is great you can adjust the shutter speed and everything else is automatic. For someone that knows nothing other than point and shoot, the Sony is a great choice!
