Beginning, LAX, And ORD

Hey guys, I'm new to photography, just got my N65 w/ 28-80mm and a Tamron 75-300mm for X-mas. I hope to be getting a X2 Teleconverter for my b-day, May 10. Also, I use Sensia 100. My reason for telling you this is that I want to know what else I can add to my equipment to help me.

P.S. I plan on flying out to LAX through ORD this summer on UAL, and just wanted to ask about shooting spots at ORD. If anyone can help me out, it'd be a lot of help.
