Yesterday I had 28 in HQ, now only 27 while nothing has been rejected or uploaded. What has happened?

no isn't, happened to me quite often during the last time

reason 1. - another photographer uploaded an image with the same name than your one

reason 2. - it's eastern  Smile/happy/getting dizzy search for it!

As above, most likely that you uploaded a file with a fairly common name, and then someone else uploaded a file with the same name. It happens!

Is someone uploaded file with the same name - is there a way for me to find out which one photo was lost?

Secondly if my was in HQ - does it mean that the photo that overwrote mine is automaticly in HQ?

BTW: there is a real stuck in HQ - 3000 ahead of me a week ago, over 2900 today.

I've never lost one single photo in the A.net queue, but I'm also always make sure to be all alone with the filename, as I include both registration, airport-code and photo-date in the filename.

A file-name problem can only exist here, if:

  • ...someone else have taken the same aircraft at the same airport at the same day.
  • ...this very person have his/her photo in the A.net queue at the very same time.
  • ...this person uses exactly the same system to name his/her files...

I don't say this is impossible to happen, but very unlikely, and it has not occurred in the last 1267 uploads to me, probably it's rather safe anyway.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
