As you all know, Ryanair's acquisition of Buzz from KLM(UK) has now been approved and, as of May 1st, flights have begun operating once again.
Although Ryanair own the Buzz operation, the flights are officially operated by a new company called "Buzz Stansted Ltd" on behalf of Ryanair.
All the aircraft carry their various old paint schemes at present, which poses a question as to what to call them in the Airline field. Here is my take on what should be done.
All aircraft operating in full Buzz livery should now be: "Buzz Stansted (Ryanair)". They should NOT be called the old "Buzz (KLM(UK))", since they are now nothing to do with KLM(UK) anymore. For instance:
It's a bit complicated since there are so many different Buzz schemes which Ryanair have acquired! I think the important one to get right is the top example - it would be wrong to call those ones "Buzz (KLM(UK))".
I have tried to adhere to the rules discussed here many times, and as such the visible titles on the fuselage should always come first in the Airline field (before the bit in parenthesis).
Does anybody else have any thoughts, or care about this as much as me(!)?

Hi Tamsin
Good point. However I think the 146's will still just be plain and simple 'Buzz' to most people until the time if/when they acquire Ryanair titles/colours. (do you know of any plans to do this btw?)
Cheers
ps Thanks for submitting all your fab SEN photos...it's a pity the airport is a shadow of its former self these days. Many a happy hour spent in the bar with Heralds, 1-11s, Viscounts, etc coming and going.....

Airchabum: Thanks very much. I agree SEN isn't anything like it used to be - the biggest problem these days is what does come and go is just so unpredictable!
Ikarus: Yes, Ryanair promised to repaint the aircraft. They have stuck a couple of Ryanair stickers on a couple of the all-white ex-Continental 737s. I guess they kept to the letter of their promise, if not the intent. Nothing new there then!
Danny: Ryanair will keep the 146s as a stop-gap until more of their new 737-800s arrive to fill capacity. I think some of the Buzz destinations could not be served by 737s due to runway length. Not sure how true that was, or whether Ryanair now have any of those routes in their schedule. As an aside, three of the former-Buzz 146s are back at KLM(UK)'s HQ in Norwich, having not (yet) operated "Buzz Stansted" services. Finally, KLM(UK) had already committed to disposing of all the Buzz 146s long before the sale to Ryanair.
The Crew: Any "official" word on how to name the new airline?
