The ears are still good. I thought about ear plugs, but half the experience is enjoying that loud squeal. Actually when inbound they aren't to noisy and when outbound they're far enough away not to bother to much. Two weeks ago in LHR when it took off all the car alarms in the parking lots adjacent to the runway went off from the noise and vibrations caused by Concorde.
I was in Miami one day beside the runway when Concorde made an approach and got a go-around. Now that was noisy. The loudest I've ever heard.
Only a few more days to catch that AF Concorde. And, like Sam, I'm driven to the Concorde today. Certainly is an incentive to get up at the unGodly hour of 5:30 a.m. and traisp out to JFK. It's worth it. Just keep our fingers crossed that the weather continues to be as nice as it's been.

N178UA: Thanks for posting the link to your rejected picture. I think it's a brilliant picture, since it gives us - non Concorde flyers (yeah, I know...) - a good idea of what it's like flying on Concorde. I'm sure you had a great trip back then!
