Hi everyone,
Today I spent some time at a local airshow taking some shots with my digital camera and now I'm ready to make them look better. What do you guys do to make these shots look so perfect? I have Adobe Photoshop 7 on my computer if that helps. My pictures tend to be a little dark and a little grainy even in the best lighting situations. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Well, there are several things you can do. Keep in mind, I am not a pro, I only got 153 pics in the database at the moment. Here's my workflow -
Play with curves. Make it lighter/darker, depending on the situation.
Sharpen by using unsarp mask - that gives me best results. Play with settings for the best result.
Crop/resize/save with minimum jpeg compression.
Upload.
Have fun!
Alex.
