Note!!!!!....This is a repost from yesterday....apparently the Moderator thought my title wasnt relevant to aviation or the topic so I have changed it to one that was suggested by him.
Howdy
The WX is in the upper 80s and expected in the 90,s tommorow. Blue
Skys from horizon to horizon.
Anyhow.....I had to take my wife to a Drs appointment. The route top
and from takes you on a road underneath the 34L&R APP(the aircraft are no
more than 75 ft above)We were on our way home down 188th St when I saw
the A-340 in SAS colors comming in on 34R so I pulled over to watch.
Upon looking at the traffic pattern for 34L I noticed 1 A-310 and 2-MD11
in FED-EX Colors then my eyes went back to the 34R traffic and there
was a NWA DC-10 and a UAL B-757(all of these flights were staggard of
course).
Now to tell you what really STINKS.....I left my FujiS602 at home
doesnt that really stink????......6 heavys in a row that is rare at KSEA.
Oh well hopefully there will be another opportunity.

Thats nothing, Every trip i've made in the last 2 years bar 2 have either been heavy rain or very dark and cloudy. I spent 3 hours on a road waiting for an AN-124, eventually I went home only to see it fly overhead as I was leaving on the bus.
I've managed to miss the busiest periods at my airport for the last 6 visits, for one reason or another, I've been soaked and even battered by hailstones on regular occasions.

Dan, I also have my share of An-124 misses - I went out at 1:30 in the morning to get one, but since I didn't have a tripod, I had to balance my camera on its case and a deck of cards that I randomly had. When I went to see it next morning - gone. That went on for about 8 months, now that I finally nailed it, I haven't been able to upload it on a.net - just not there, quality-wise. I'll keep trying though.
Alex.
Money does not bring you happiness. But it's better to cry in your own private limo than on a cold bus stop.
