Here are some frames from videos of mine. This is for a sneak peak before I edit and hsot my videos. Keep in mind that some of these look scratchy, but only because they ar tkaen form the videos. The actual digital footage does not have these distrotions.

Recognize this? This is footage of a picture Tom Turner took:

Nice lineup. I counted 17 planes.

Midwest’s first 717:

Motion blur? No, just quick panning.

Wing flex is nice in pictures and all, but it’s a lot better in video.  Big grin

Oh, and I have a few Concorde videos too. J

Landing and departing on the same runway at LGA:

Biggest plane ever into LGA. Delta 764:

My favorite plane:

Engine fire? No, but put on your sunglasses.

Duck!

I hope you like them. This is all I can do until I have the cash for a 10D.

Phil, are those JFK shots from those mornings we shot Concorde?

Anyway, like I said before, stick to video! You are good at it.

I always thought so and so will most of the people here.

peace, Mirrodie

I take any requests you might want, too. Want to see a certain plane taking off fomr a certian angle? Want me to film your flight leaving or landing? I cna do it.

Want it saved as data on a CD, or on a Video CD or DVD? VHS? Let me know.

You can email me at bigphilnyc@yahoo.com too.

Just tell me what you are interested in.

Phil,
What DVD burner did you end up getting? I got the HP DVD300i, works like a charm. No coasters yet. I am in the process of putting all my old military stuff I shot while flying around in the backseat of some old Navy jets onto DVD. Looks as good as the original tape, but should last forever now.

The best thing is adding menus to the DVD, no more re-winding or fast forwarding to get where you want on the tape, just make chapters out of each different subject you shoot and you can get there in a click.

Nice shots!

Most commercial dvd's are coded by area of the world, so a DVD bought in the US won't work on a player in the UK. (Although I seem to be able to play UK dvd's on my laptop...) It is a way to control distribution. There is a way to bypass the chip inside the player tho...(I don't know how...just that it can be done/)

Well, like i said earlier, jsut email me and tell me what you want to see. Be as descriptive as you want.

Prices vary depending on what you want, media used and length of footage, in addition to shipping and other costs that may arise.

Within the next few months, I'll have a site up for my videos, letting you know all the details about exactly what i have, what i can get and how much it will cost. In the mean time, thigns will have to be done manually by email.

Here is another frame of a DL767 fighting some crosswind. Notice how the runway moves to the right, and we should not be able to see the left side of the plane. That's some harsh wind. And a CRJ just departed on the other end of the runway too.

Yeah, wild planes they fly. They are WIDEbodies, you can only enter through a hatch int he back, in-flight meals are only served between the landing gear and the planes pushback hard from the terminal.

I like those planes though, because you're allowed ot de-ice anywhere you want.

The video is great. It's nice to hear the engines screaming. Wild reverse thrust too, man, you'll love it.

The video will cost you $4.99 an hour.
