I just received a piece of mail from Aberdeen, Scotland, form a man named Gary Watt.
In it was three 5 x 7 prints. Two of a beautiful biz-jet, and another of a skyward looking shot of what seems to be an A340 and an MD-11 passing overhead.
Absolutely amazing shots, and an honor to have received them. I need to find something that I can keep them safe in and also display them.
I can't stand biz jets, but these are lovely. Gary is a master with a camera. Using a phrase form Tom Turner, few can "emulate his technical prowess". (inside joke with Tom, sorry).
Amazing shots Gary. I thank you so much. A true honor to hav ereceived such a prize. I will rub it in all the other antters' faces forever. lol

Nothing is wrong with them, since I got Gary's shots! (I'm laying it on kinda thick, huh? lol)

But you can afford commercial jets?
They dont need to be big. G-Vs (or shall i say G500/550's) arent exactly small.
For me, its all pie in the sky sometimes. Just like the expensive cars...you'd kill for one cuz ya cant afford 'em.
With my ambition to fly biz jets as a career, hearing someone say they cant stand them makes my ears perk
Theres more money in it - thats for sure. Plus its more laid back than commercial.

Hi all
Phil, thanks for the comments and glad you liked the pictures.
You should have said you didn't like biz jets and I would have sent you something else. It would have been as easy as you naming the print and I would have had it printed.
Yep, the skyward shot was the Swiss MD11 and Lufthansa A340:

The quality is amazing. That with it being in my hands, I feel like I was there myself!
No, the biz jets were jsut fine. If you gave me an option, I would have killed myself trying to choose!

Hi Gary,
I may have said it before, but I will say it again. The shot below is by far, the best one here at the A. net!! It is truly breathtaking!! Gary, are you still using your D30 these days, or have you upgraded?

Hi Paul
Thanks
Still using the D30 and no plans to let it go. I'm already saving for one of the future Canon DSLR's so when it arrives and tickles my fancy,I'll have the money all ready. I'll wait a year/two years before upgrading.
The BA shot still impresses a lot of people and still get mails about it yet. It's one shot I still have not had printed up yet.
I know the local police have it pinned up at their office at the airport.....with my permission of course

Hi Ron
Not sure if I will be down this year.
Concorde...seen it, done it
Honestly, would be good to get some shots before the service ends. Haven't got a decent shot of her, and I've flown the bugger too!
