Hello everybody. I have searched this forum for my question but have not
found a good answer. My question is this. I just bought a Minolta Dimage
Scan Dual III and I wonder is it worth the money to get Vuescan for this
scanner or do you think that Minoltas software does as good a job.
I know you can download and try Vuescan for free which I have done and I
think the scans are comparable. But there is one thing about the Vuescan
software that sounds very interesting and that is that you can save the
raw scan data and never have to scan the same picture again. So if in a
year from now I have learnt a lot more about postprocessing of digital
images then I can use the old raw scan again without having to rescan.
So once again, Dual III users out there. Is Vuescan better than Minoltas
software???
