What is Your Favorite EU airline? Mine is a Tie beetween AF and LH. I have expierienced them both on Shorthaul and LongHaul flights.AF:PHL-CDG(763)
CDG-Bordeux(735) and CDG-PHL(763) the 763's lacked PTV's but the service made up for it same with the LH A343 FRA-PHL. The A300 FCO-FRA was less than perfect though. My least Favorite is AZ. Ive only flown them on shorthaul:LHR-FCO-LHR(A321) and FLR-FCO one-way A319 and the service was terrible and very un-Italian as the Majority of Italians are warm and welcoming except for those at AZ. Air One was different though.

For me it would be a LH and KLM as European major and Air Berlin and Easyjet as low cost/charter carriers.

VS and BA. I've had countless good experiences with both of them, so I can't really decide.

As for LH and KLM, I've only had 1 flight with each of them so I can't really claim them as my favorite airline yet.

My favorite European airlines are:

Scandinavian Airlines

SABENA

and

Iberia

but if I had to choose between them, then Scandinavian is my favorite.

Perhaps SABENA would be if they still existed. I haven't flown with SN Brussels yet, perhaps they hold the standard. Iberia is always a favorite as well, that I enjoy flying with a lot.

Futura International Airways is the best charter I've flown with. Icelandair is passable, but the worst airline I've flown with is British Airways. I avoid them when I possibly can.

cheers

KLM and Swiss International Airlines as national carriers.

Air Berlin and easyJet as LCC's because together they cover almost complete Europe and the airports are not to far away from the city where I live.

My favourite National airline is KLM, but they are easily elipsed by Air Nostrum who provide the best inflight service of any European carrier I have flown on to date. Great food and so much of it, good service, can't fault them. My favourite European LCC would be Air Southwest, lovely cabin crew, very nice and chatty and they are also very accomodating to your needs.

Talking about LCC, AB and VY (Vueling) are doing well.
