Northwest: The old tail logo must be one of the most intelligently though ones.
I just love how the N is fused with a W through an arrow that points northwest on the globe!

Hi guys,

I have posted a thread, something about this topic 'but not quite' in the Civil Aviation forum. The thread can be found here Airline Tail Livery - What Is That Thing? (by 9MMAR Aug 10 2006 in Civil Aviation)

So, for those who have yet to make up their mind on their favourite tail livery, the thread can give you a further understanding of many airlines' tail livery.

As for me, my favourite is the flying 'Wau Kucing' kite of Malaysia Airlines.

Big version: Width: 640 Height: 439 File size: 81kb

Big version: Width: 323 Height: 422 File size: 17kb

Just in case you didn't quite see it, turn the Wau Kucing 90 degrees to the left, stylised it and there it is, MH's tail livery.
