hi,
in august 2007 i'm flying vce-lhr-hgk and i'm flying first class.
on the cx web site i read that From January 2007, Cathay Pacific will be phasing in luxurious new seat designs, fresh cabin interiors and enhanced inflight entertainment options that will revolutionise long-haul travel.
my option are cx 250 lhr 18.05 with 744 or cx 254 lhr 21.50 with 346.
do you think that both planes will be fitted with the new seats or shall i choose the 346?
thanks in advance
gio

My guess is choose the 744, the 744's will more likely have the new F seats rather than the 346's. The 346's are rumoured to go, so I would personaly stick to the 744!
I am only guessing, I don't actualy know which routes or aircraft will feature the new F/J/Y classes first

Definitely the 744 flight. These seats were designed for the 744 and will be installed first on these aircrafts without a doubt.

yup, I third that. That being said I don't know for sure... I would call or e-mail CX to find out what the deal is.
If you get a chance, you'll have to write a review with pictures as I might decideto fly CX next time to NZ as they are partnes with AS.
