Hi
Anyone can give insight as to what to expect in EK new C Class? I am on EK204 from JFK-DXB and then DXB-MEL next week. I know the 773ER's have the new interior.
Can you let me know if this is true, and what the main differences are between the old and new besides lie-flat seats?

there's not really a great deal of difference between c on the 773ers and all the other 777s. just a bit of wood trim on the windows i think. 773ers certainly don't have lie-flat. the a345 is different - it does have lie-flat. have a look at travellers information > seats and classes on the ek website if u haven't already.

Besides looking at the EK website take a tour on the photo database... I've been looking at EK business class seats and the comments/descriptions, and it appears that it is amazing. Not sure about the differences, you'll have to make a quick comparison.

The new J class on the newly-delivered 777-300ER's (A6-EBQ-...) will be configured with the new lie-flat seats (although they are at an angle). Starting october, the non-stop JFK flight (cant remember flight no.) will definetely recieve an aircraft with the new seats. All 777-300's (non-ER) will be re-fitted with these seats as well as the F suites as on the 345's. (i think they have stated already although i'm not too sure)
