A year and a half ago, I took OS from JFK to Vienna and back. Both ways A330 service. Very good service, good IFE (including nose and bellycams), very good food (yes, actually it tasted good). Vienna was nice to transfer. But be careful, there is a lot of red in the cabin, from the seats to FAs uniforms.

I have never flown with them longhaul, but on short flights, theyre OK, with nice seats with 32 inches of leg room, decent punctuality, and friendly staff.

actually there is a lot of green in the cabin. green carpet and different green seating. along with all red FAs (shoes, stocking, skirts, jackets). the designer should be shot without questioning.
else, the service on 330 is nice. just been on one today from YYZ. there wont be much of service on the vie - prg leg though.

Just flew recently:
ZRH-VIE C 100
VIE-PVG C 332
PVG-VIE C 332
VIE-ZRH C F70
Excellent service and friendly staff on all four legs. Very good meal service. Entertainment system in C was basically the same as Y but bigger screens and cool headseat with noise reduction (but no on demand).
Seats on 332 are not yet as good as the new seats but still far better then other companies (eg. LH 744 in C).

Quoting TK787 (Reply 1): But be careful, there is a lot of red in the cabin, from the seats to FAs uniforms.
DEFINITELY!!
Red shoes, red stockings, red trousers, red top
for my taste: terrible *g*
But that's not the FA's decicion, so they really do a great job.
I always felt them to be really friendly, obliging and well-trained.
Actually for OS FA's till some years ago the A-levels was a must-have.
Now they put that away (which is really okay for my taste) but just to give you an impression...
Actually the new livery of the planes (Austrian Airlines -> Austrian), blue accents look quite good for my taste.
And even I really think the FAs are all working really profession (so do the pilots) they are not that strict like I saw it at LH.
So if you've got a wish which is maybe a little bit more than standard-service you should also get it done.
I remember one time when i was on a shorthaul Economy-Flight (i think it was VIE-FRA, can't remember exactly) in times where you still got a warm meal on those short flights: I was soo hungry so I asked if it would be possible to get another meal The FA took a look at the gallery and just served me one some seconds later - without any extra-charge. I guess (maybe i am wrong) this would be more difficult at LH cuz german people tend to strictly keep to rules more than a common austrian person. (actually i got such a wish denied in an LH flight even i saw there were some meals left extra to the crew meals. Being less strict for sure does not apply on safety issues!
