I took my first flight on EMIRATES last week in C; BKK-DBX-JNB. I coul dnot have been more pleased. It was excellent. The service is tremendous, the best audio/video system I have ever seen. I wish they were in Star Alliance I would take them anywhere.
And their lounges in DBX were fantastic, except the wireless does not work well.

My first and only experience on EK so far was early last year DXB-LHR. The service was great but I was slightly uncomfortable that could have been because I wasn't very well but overall I enjoyed the flight and I hope to fly them next June/July. They have some of the best F/As and they seemed to love their job!

My first and only EK flight was June of this year when I flew DXB-JFK on the A340-500.
I loved it!
I usually like to sleep on those overnight flights but I could not with all of the choices in music and movies.
I was in coach and it was relatively comfortable and the food was good.
I just loved the cabin lighting!

I had my first flights with Emirates (FRA-DXB-FRA) in SEP06 and I can tell you that I was very surprised about the service, meal, beverage, F/A and the IFE.
Just right now I'm back in DXB until 20OCT arriving with EK046 in Y-class. I never had better flights even in Biz with LH, QF, SQ or others!
Still, even in the most arid desert is an airport somewhere ...
