The majority of us tend to fly on narrowbodies and RJs for most of our trips. So if you are going to be on a narrowbody (including RJs) what is your preference?
I love flying on the 737-800, I find it to be really comfortable. Even when I was in the middle seat I didn't feel too cramped.
My least favorite has been the ERJ-145, just too cramped for me. It just wasn'y made for people 6' and taller. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the ERJ-145 also have a foot-rest that serves only one purpose...to dig into my shins the entire flight. Though that's just a minor annoyance, all that really matters is that you get there safely, and the ERJ-145 has done that for me every time.
I really hope I get a chance to fly on an AirTran 717, American MD-80, and one of the E-Jets someday. Though I've heard the Mad Dog can be hell, I want to get on one of these before they're gone. And I've only heard the best about the E-Jets.

B757-200 is the only narrow way to fly!

B752 gets my vote, then the B738, B739, and last the E145XR! Now you bring back the B722's sign me up for that as #2.

As someone who travels with my wife but no children, my favorite is any aircraft that has only two seats (window and aisle seat) on either one or both sides (assuming we are flying coach). That way neither of us has to sit in a middle seat (assuming the plane is full). That includes virtually all of the regional jets, as well as the DC-9/MD-80/MD-90 family.

I've heard it's a kick ass ride. I was going to be on a CO 757 when I flew home in September, but I got to the airport so early I was able to get on an earlier flight on a 737-800.
Hey, 757-200 or four extra hours with my girlfriend. I take choice 2.

Least favourite would have to be the 145, I've flown on it once, and I intend to fly on the 135 once as well, but then that shall be it! They are cramped and uncomfortable.
Favourite actual narrowbody would be the EMB170. Very comfortable, nice sized windows and also quiet in cruise. Good flights all round.

I actually liked the B707 and B720B best but got lots of time on the good old 727 series. Those days are gone. The 757 is pretty good but I've come to really enjoy the B737-800/900.

I was very surprised on how wide the seats were on the E190 the first time I got to sit and fly in one. It was really quite comfortable! I make it my new favorite narrowbody to fly in.

Some have said that CO will eventually get 170s...can't wait for that.

The 72's were no slouch on speed either......most 75's I'd think econ around .80 range and the 72's didn't care about econ from what I am told and seen...go till you can't hear yourself think up front then hold that speed!!
Loved that Alaska 72 pic....used to get them through IAH long time ago when AA did a crew swap at DFW to the Eskimo tail.

If you don't like the CRJ-700, then you won't like the CRJ-900.
My favorites are the 757-200 and the 737-NG, although with the right airline, I may even enjoy the A320 series (i.e. Frontier). I also liked my one flight on the DC-9 series (specifically an MD-88 flight) just because of the special seating configuration.

Just wondering, it is rare that you hear that someone absolutely hates the EJ-135/145, but it seems most hate the CRJ series. What makes them so much worse than Embraer? I have yet to fly on a CRJ.
25 Dc10srule: I recently flew on a CO 737-800 followed by a NW DC9-50. I found I was much more comfortable on the DC-9 as it felt like I had more room to stretch my
26 IAHFLYR: I hate the 2X2 seating, much more friendly 1X2 on the E135/145's IMO! Next the CRJ window is very low, most adults do not actually see out of it even
27 Falstaff: I have always liked the DC-9, MD-80, MD-90, MD-95 (717). The only wide bodies I ever flew on until I got out of high school were TWA L1011s and they w

30 ZBA320: For the thrill it would have to be a 752 RR, naturally. Boeing built it like a tank. For comfort it would have to be A320. I do love those birds!!
31 Delta767300ER: Not a bad choice. I like the 752 but with P&W Engines. RR's sound like a buzzsaw. The A-320 is is a great aircraft. I prefer the A-320 series over an

33 Scoliodon: The 757..period. The best narrowbody ever.
34 Vatveng: My favorite is the 717, it has been since my first 717 flight in 2003. I've loved the 737-800 since I first flew on the type in 2005. Very comfortable
35 N31029: 752. Is there anything else? Blessings, N31029

38 QXatFAT: I am all about the CRJ-700. I love to fly on this plane as much as I can. The only other one I enjoy flying is HP/US 734 or CO 738.

43 HPLASOps: Nothing beats sitting in the back row of a 752 or a 753 and getting the feeling of "tailwhipped" as the plane makes a u-turn out of a horseshoe gate.
44 MEACEDAR: I love the A319 from United, and United only. I usually fly coach, sometime Economy plus. I flew MCO-LAX on DL's 752 and it was way to cramped (mostly
45 747400sp: You can not beat a 757! The quality is almost like a wide body.
46 ThePRGuy: A320 Series of Airbus have got to be an allround combination, ample takeoff performance + comfortable cruise. 757 has to be my favourite for sheer tak
47 Springbok747: B757, then the CRJ. Nothing beats the 757 though, those RRs are awesome
49 ATLAaron: Well I love the 757 based on it's abilities and the economics behind it, however I must say that the 738 is a more comfortable ride. Also gotta love t

57 777jaah: My choice will be 757s. I have a business trip on friday BOG-MDE, a 30 min ride, and I booked it with AV in the right time to be able to get a ride in
58 RAFVC10: The newest Embraer E170 is my favourite. My second choice are the Mad Dogs.
59 Paul: MD's are pure shite. They are old, noisy and nasty. The most comfortable is the A321. Its so quiet, light and long. Its a great plane to be on.
61 TrijetsRMissed: I'm sure you will, just a matter of time. AA MD-80's are everywhere, you'll find yourself on one someday. The Mad Dogs aren't that bad, as long as yo
62 Captaink: MD80 everyday... The 737-800 and A320 series are second.
63 AAFLT1871: Nothing like a takeoff on a 757. I will be sad the day they get retired from service. I will take a flight out of my way if there is a 757 involved.
