For some very odd reason, Delta and American are offering DCA-ATL-JFK and DCA-MIA-JFK for very cheap rates comparable to the Shuttle fares. So basically I have a choice to fly DCA-ATL-JFK with the ATL-JFK leg on a Delta 777, something I've wanted to do for a while....Or I could fly DCA-MIA, have a few hours to head into South Beach and Little Havana and then fly MIA-JFK on an A300 which I just did this summer.
Oh, btw, American is also offering me DCA-LGA-MIA-JFK for the same price...I'm kind of tempted to do that just for the fun (and miles)...Thoughts friends?

I'd do DCA-ATL-JFK, if only for the 777.
ATL can be unpleasant at times, but it is worth it.
