Hey Y'all-

I've always thought of this....If I started an airline, what would I name it?

Have you ever thought of this? What would you name your airline? What do you think a professional name for an airline would be? Do you think an airline out there has a bad name?

I really dislike Skybus! It makes the airline seem very unprofessional. I think of it as a dirty, cramped bus in the air, but thats just my 0.02

I don't like all the stupid cheesy names that feature the word jet or similar words in their names. Geographic names use to be the norm. I think they are good. But I would choose a name like Progressive. It is the name of an insurance company, so it is probably taken, but it is far better than a lot of these stupid meaningless names that are so forgetable.

I think the best names out there are United, American and Continental. You remember those.

A London / Kent -based low cost airline.

25 YULspotter : BRAVO! The exclamation point would be part of the name. It just wouldn't have the same impact otherwise. Tag line: Bravo! You chose a great way to fly
26 JetBlueAUS : JetEast Airways... my virtual airline.
27 MEACEDAR : I would do something like Atalantic Airways or maybe West Coast Airlines. IDK
28 Thepilot : I would call it SkyWings. But that is just me.
