Well'm sure this will get moved, but my faves are (as a pax):
LAS (D-Terminal) once you get past security.
SNA,just the best in So-Cal (love the shared gates).
LIH,love the open-ness (hey,it's Hawaii!)
ROC,yes I'm partial,but,it's nice!
DEN is nice,too.

Well, I guarantee I'm the only one who thinks this way. My favorite airport in the U.S. is SLC, closely followed by ATL.

IAH is great......lots of runways and few delays until the weather goes to hell like at most airports. So I am partial but ya know what, look at the numbers of on time airports and airlines that sever them.

Personally, here are some of my favourites:
MCO - very airy, easy to get around in, easy in and out. Only negatives are the lines at security can be very long.
LAS Terminal D - very spacious, was clean, free wi-fi a big plus.
DTW - Best hub - nice and new, the train is real fast, and now that C is redone, it's real nice. Only complaint is no train between A and B/C.
Just for the record, here are some of my least favourites:
STL - wasn't really impressed with the AA hub operation area (concourses, etc.). Other AA hubs I've been to (ORD, JFK, DFW) are in much better shape in my opinion.
PHL - the one airport I avoid. A-West is beautiful, the other US Airways gates are a dump. Between that and the delays I always get going through there, I've given up on that airport, and if I take US Airways, I go through CLT or I choose another airline.
LAX T6/7/8 - I wasn't too impressed with the UA hub operation there...not a whole lot of food operations around 10 p.m., concourses were pretty run down.

For large airports HNL & BNA. For small airports Redmond, OR. RDM

SFO Intl Term is great - but the UA domestic concourse smells like wet dog for 8 months of the year
Austin Bergstrom - great facility imho...

YES CAN ABIA GET SOME LOVE?
People always over look our airport down here in the ATX!
Oh, my friend, HNL is a dump! Short of the open walkways, there isn't much to write home about. The retail and dining options are fair at best, and if you happen to fly in or out of the Diamond Head Concouse, bring your best 70s retro garb as it's in dire need of a 21st century rehab.
25 Alitalia744: in no personal preference/order ATL JFK CVG

37 PavlovsDog: PDX is a great medium sized-airport. I like it better than the others I see mentioned here.
38 Letsgetwet: EWR terminal C is bright, spacious, has alot of shops and restaurants, a large parking deck, easy access to ground transportation AND .....is only a 3
39 Ripdog: I remember the days when Tampa ranked high scores. Little by little they seem to be tearing down old air sides and building new ones. My fav is Orland
40 Zrs70: I like smaller airports. PWM is fantastic, as is LGB. For large airports, BOS is the best. Arrivals over the harbor are breathtaking, and Terminal C h
