Has anyone ever thought of converting an old airliner into a house?
For instance, a very old DC-10 made into a 3 bedroomed facility, with cinema, office, long lounge area?
Obviously kept on land/ in a field, not in an airport!
Has anyone ever done this, and would it be a possible?
Perhaps it could even be converted into a restaurant? Very popular with enthusiasts / workers...

I never thought of doing that, but now that you say it, it would be awesome to live in an airliner, as long as not to many people were living in there all at once!! Personally, I would make the cockpit into a fully functional cockpit to run FS2004 in!!! Thanks for the idea.

Many years ago I had a neighbour with an old DC-3 fuselage in which he had his hobby room. Along one side he had a fantastic model railroad which also got me started in that hobby. The idea of a home in a DC-10 has always been a dream of mine.
