The year is not over yet  Wink. (Read: I have not flown commercially yet this year.) I could attempt to count all of the miles I flew in training to get my PPL and the miles since then, but that would require more effort than I currently have available.

Counting next week's 3 segment itinerary back to CLE, my stats for this year will be:
28 Segments accruing 25,924 miles
Breakdown: New this year
Airlines: AA, CO, DL, FL, HP, MQ, WN
A/c: CR7, M80, 319, 320, 717, 733, 73G, 738, 752, 763
Special liveries: America West's Nevada One 757

Not too shabby for a full time student (seeing as I financed the majority of them)

Very good question and since I was bored, I decided to add them all up using mileage from the great circle mapper.
These are the flights I flew this year:

HNL-SYD-HNL 23 times for 233,036 miles
HNL-LAS-HNL 9 times for 49716 miles
HNL-SMF-HNL 3 times for 14772 miles
HNL-SAN-HNL 3 times for 15684 miles
HNL-SEA-HNL 1 time for 5354 miles
HNL-LAX-HNL 15 times for 76680 miles
HNL-PPG-HNL 5 times for 26000 miles

In addition, HNL-LAX-PHL-MAD-LAS-HNL for 17258 miles
HNL-LAX-GRU-REC-NAT-REC-GIG-GRU-LAX-HNL 20394 miles
And HNL-LAX-IAD-GRU-GIG-GRU-ORD-LAX-HNL for 19522 miles for a total of 478416 miles thus far this year.
I will also be making 4 round trips from HNL to SYD this month as well as a HNL-LAS-DEN trip at the end of the month for New Years, for a 2006 grand total of 522334 miles!!

No wonder I'm so tired!!  Smile

Quite a lot of flying this year actually...

DUB-LHR - EI
LHR-LAX - BA
LAX-ORD - AA
SFO-JFK - AA
EWR-MCO - AA
MCO-MIA - AA
MIA-BZE - AA
BZE-DFW - AA
DFW-YVR - AA
YVR-LAX - AS
LAX-SYD - QF
SYD-LAX - QF
LAX-DUB - EI

All of the above was over 4 weeks in February. After that...

DUB-VIE - EI
VIE-DUB - EI
DUB-STN - FR
STN-DUB - FR
DUB-LHR - EI
LHR-IST - BA
ATH-LHR - BA
LHR-DUB - EI

I think that was about it... I'm not flying again until April 2007 when I have DUB-LHR on EI, LHR-AMM on RJ, AMM-BKK on RJ, BKK-SYD on BA, SYD-SIN on QF, SIN-HEL-LHR on AY, LHR-DUB on EI.

I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!
