757!!! Nothing like being on a narrow body heavy and being tall off the ground . Plus 75 is a rarity

checkmark   checkmark   checkmark  I also find the seating slightly less cramped on a 752 vs. 738, at least on DLcrowded
Aside from seating as many as 35-40 more passengers, a 752 has a much greater range. On the other hand many of the 737s in COs fleet are 739s, and they "might" be able to give the 752 some competition as for comfort.

It should be simple enough to fly on a 757 one way and on a 737NG on the other.

I like them both. I have only flown on NW in the last 5 years so I have only been on a 757 lately. Nice plane. Flown on a 757 in F and Y and I liked them both.

I would go with the 757 all the way. Are you flying J or Y? If J then you'll have the best domestic flight of you're life. If Y then it will still be good.

Well I can't say which is "better" as I've never been on a 757. But they are roughly the same width and both usually use 2-2 up front and 3-3 in the back, only difference being the 757 has more doors, a longer fuse and (probably) more galleys and lavs.

I can't help wondering what "and used less thrust" has to do with anything? A 737 would clearly use less thrust, as it is a smaller aircraft.

I'd definitely go 757. You said it's CO? Is it a -300 or -200? If it's a -300, then 757 hands down!

757, of course. I've lucked out and will be flying on three of them this December! (BOS-DEN, DEN-SJC, LAX-BOS). It's certainly the slickest looking narrowbody around.

I've never flown on a 757 - but CO's 738s are cramped and nothing all that special.

I have piloted and been a passenger on both, on all CO's FL routes.

I've been on the 757 now for 8 years and fly to FL at least twice a month. The 757 has been the best aircraft to ride on and to fly..

So, if I were you, I would go with the 757.. Much more comfortable and, not to mention, it looks cooler.  Wink
