Quoting Thepilot (Thread starter): PS-I am sure this had been discussed before. Feel free to flame if you deem it necessary.
WOW not only are you not getting flamed, but no responses either must be the silent treatment. Well i did not make an in depth search but i found this nice one, I love seeing warbirds in formation. Spitfire is one of the best.

IMHO, the following 2 photos are the absolute best on A.net. Not only are the photos awesome, but the shear fact that 2 a.net photogs captured the same shot, at the same time, from 2 different vantage points.
This is truly the "One in a Million" shot!

Great choice!
Below is my favorite photo by far. Not that it's particularly spectacular, but because it combines Pan Am, the 707, along with the fond memories of lazy Saturday afternoons in my youth when my dad would indulge me by driving me to SFO and parking in the little spotting area off the frontage road where you could get up close and personal to the jets taking off. I wish I'd taken many more photos back then than the few I have from the old observation deck at SFO's Central Terminal. On my first trip to Europe, some friends drove me to the airport, then went to park in this spot to wave my plane bon voyage.

This is unquestionably the best photo on A.Net - the reason being that I am in the photo. I am directly under the #3 engine. One of the greatest spotting experiences of my life, and a total stranger posted it on A.Net!! Thanks Jan for taking the photo and later sending me the .JPG file. It has made a great addition to my office!!
