OK, given the chance to fly on any passenger aircraft currently certified in the US (it doesn't neccessarily have to be US based) which aircraft would you most like to fly on?
For me it would be an A310.
This is just a research thing for a possible future project I have in mind.

For me, it would be a difficult choice between the HS Trident, Boeing 707 or 720, or the VC10.

I'll keep this on aircraft in regular service today, because there are just too many types of airliners that aren't flying anymore that I wish I would have had at least one trip with, such as the L1049, Boeing 314 and Concorde. But for today's airliners, I still have not been on a B777 and am looking very forward to my first experience.

I flew this year in a Saha Air 707 making one of my desires and dreams accomplished; in a VC10 I flew 8 or 10 years ago in a demonstration made in the Brize Norton RAF Air Base;
Soviet models are now my dream: to fly in a Tupolev Tu-104; in the Tupolev Tu-114 Rossiya, Ilyushin Il-14 or in a Tupolev Tu-124.

747
Concorde
727
707
The 747 I would have really like it to have been a Pan Am A/C. The Concorde flight could have been any airline. The 727 my own VIP jet that was re-engine with PW JT8 219 and had winglet put on it. The 707 well I see if I can get to ride on a E-6B Mercury.

1. Concorde.
It was my dream and passion.
2. L1011
Quoting Falstaff (Reply 8): The last time I flew on one I didn't know the end was near for them in the USA. I would like to fly on one just more time.
Sadly the same thing happened to me. I didn't know my last
L1011 flight would be my LAST L1011 flight. Sure wish I knew,
or I would have appreciated it a lot more.
787 (Okay...fine, that's 11 aircraft that I would want to fly on )
25 Gunsontheroof: Probably the 737-200 or the L1011. Really, I'd like to teleport my way back to the 1970s and jet around the world on slick-looking birds with noisy en
26 RHarper: I rode in a P-51,ride of a lifetime. But the one that meant the most to me was in this one. [Edited 2006-12-31 04:44:54]
27 AirSpare: I was thinking first a YF-12 launching a D-21, then maybe a U-2CT, but no. It would have to be a Shrike Commander sitting next to Bob Hoover.
28 ERJ135: I'd like a trip in an E-Jet and I will when Virgin Blue gets them A CRJ-900 looks interesting, Can't wait for the A380 Never been in a helocopter eith
29 Deskflier: I wouldn´t mind riding shotgun (or take a flight-lesson) in a Yak-54. For a long-distance flight a Gulfstream V would be nice, but none of my friends
30 XXXX10: There are several commercial airliners I would like to fly on but none of them are certiifed in the US. I would like to try the IL-86 and the TU 154 I

33 BA787: I know, such a shame . But, with a bit of luck I will become a billionaire, buy a Concorde and put it into service . I can still dream
34 TrijetsRMissed: You're not missing anything if you haven't been on these already. But maybe those operated in Europe are nicer than the rundown planes some of the US
35 COIAH756CA: I know that your post says passenger aircraft, but I have flown on all US certified passenger aircraft and piloted 13 different kinds. So.. I would ha
