Mine is the sight of a Boeing 747-2/400 landing.

Looking over at the McNamara Terminal at DTW and seeing Northwest widebodies lined up (A330/DC10/744). Makes me tingle all over.. Big grin

EASY: unusual landings or takeoffs
EXAMPLE: I once saw a Cessna Caravan land, and keep the nose wheel off the ground until the thing was practically stopped.

MY FAVORITE: I watched a Lear-35 take off, he did a mild rotation, built airspeed for a few hundred yards, then brought the nose about 25 degrees up! Climbed like a bat outa hell! Then I heard on the scanner for departure 'Lear ****** at four thousand two hundred for four thousand'

PRICELESS

When I'm picking someone up, my favorite thing is the sight of the plane landing on time.

An aircraft taking off to a distant location, it gives me a placid feeling.

Also beautiful female flight attendants.  Big grin
