Whats CID?
Message too short
The message you were about to post is too short and probably not of any higher value to the topic at hand. You should think long and hard before posting a message in this forum and make it detailed and a valuable addition to the topic discussed.
Avoid posting "Me Too" messages. These are messages that are posted by people who agree to a point being discussed and post a one liner, "me too!", "Good post Jim!", "I disagree" or similar message. This takes up time as readers must sort through these messages which have no real value to the group at large. Any message containing nothing more than a line or two of text is probably not worth posting.
If you have an opinion on a topic, you should in detail express why you have the opinion and what made you come to that conclusion.
Your post should be relevant to the topic discussed.

Here at DFW.........THE MD-80's!!! Oh how I am sick of seeing those. The other week while watching planes for 2 hours I only saw 3 CRJ's, 1 737, and the rest 80's. They are cool planes but enough is enough.

Seriously I am so sick of Dash-8's I could scream! I used to have the attitude "A plane is a plane is a plane" but not after flying nothing but Dash-8's lately! "Norfolk to Charlotte on a DHC-8? No thanks, I'll walk."

EWR is filled with CO 737s. Granted, it has more variety than CLE, but if you ever drive past EWR while on the turnpike with a long takeoff line, I promise that 70% of the planes will be CO 737s.

I would not go so far as to say I am tired of them, but at Seattle, I would not be disappointed if I never happened to look at another Alaska MD-80.

REGIONAL JETS AT OHARE.....BOTH Embraer and Canadair......
But then I rememenr back about 14 years ago bitching about seeing too many Boeing 727s at OHare......My bad!!!!!
Boy what I wouldnt give to see, hear and feel(rattling windows and rumbling floors) a few of those again....
I am bored by the cookie cutter wing mounted twin jets with fat engines...BOOOOORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How excited can you get abouta brand new 737 or Airbus...Whoopeeeee.....
Where did all the interesting props go??
Its kind of sad OHare is 100% Airline operated with jets...No more props at OHare...
Heck Ohare used to be teaming AA and UA DC10s.....no more throaty groans coming for those planes anymore because all of a sudden they "magically became" too expensive to fly.
Midway Airport, well,,, you can get a bit tired of seeing Southwest until they bring in a 737-200.....ATA....its on the boring list too....Altho Chicago Express does use SAAB 340s.
My ideal airport would have lots of 727s 737-100s or 200s, ANY DC9, BAC 111s, Fokker F.27s or any other early generation prop planes...707s DC8s....Oh Crap does this mean I have to move to Africa or South America?
