My bf and I are going to be spending a few months in HKG early next year and are looking to go to Tokyo for a week or so but the airfare seems to be extremely expensive. Are there any ways to find some what inexpensive tickets between the two cities or is it better to book it when I get there? I'm finding right around $1,000 on JAL and NW. Is that right? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would recommend calling HIS travel in Japan. They have many offices in the main Japanese cities. They are a large Japanese consolidator and offer many negotiated discounted airfares out of Japan. Also number 1 travel in Tokyo is also recommended.
