Probably the 777, only because I've never flown on it before.

The 747 anyday! It is a great aircraft, and the view would be awesome from the cockpit.
I have been into the cockpit of a 744, looks awesome...would be great to fly one

The 747. But, there's one 747 that I'll never fly on regardless:

Depends. As I usually fly United, and unfortunately, am usually in Economy, I would always choose the 777. To be honest, if all things were equal, I would not have a preference between the 2. Both are incredible machines. Cop-out answer I know, but the truth.

747...this question is very simple. 747 is a piece of history, while the 777 is just a damn good airplane.

I would say both. Fly the new kid on the block (777) on my outbound leg and the king of the skies on the way back.

correct me if i'm wrong,
i've not heard of an airframe recently designed that keeps up with the "good ol" B747. i have been told the B707 has a higher cruz speed, by about mach0.02-0.04.
it'll be interesting to see if the A380s will have a cruz figure that rivals a B747? the A340s dont keep up with it.
i guess not in this era where "ecomomy" is everything.
the newest (largest) widebody i'v travelled in was a 333.

25 Scf158: I would prefer to fly on a 777 because I never have!
26 Airbus3801: 744, didn't you just ask this same question? With that aside the 744 definetly, i have flown both and the 744 was the best aircraft I have ever flown.
27 Adam T.: Since i've never been one i'd have to say the 747 Adam
28 Ryanair737: The 777 because I have never flown on it before. Ryanair737
29 N317AS: I've been on test flights on both now, and without a doubt it would have to be the 744.
30 Douglas7Seas: 747 for me. It is so darn big. And it has character. All the recent U.S. twins are so cookie cutter.
31 Leskova: Have flown on both a few times, though more frequently on the B747-400 (18 flights) than the B777 (3 flights), but if I had to select one of these two
32 Hirnie: I have been on both. I`d prefer the 744. Don`t know why, just a feeling.
33 C130HERCULES: I will definitely want to fly on the 777 since I havent been on it yet!!! Just to see those GE-115B blowers face to face will be great.
34 767-332ER: Whichever one you buy me a ticket on will be my favorite. Regards
35 ZKSUJ: I too have not flown the 777, but hands down I'd prefer the 747, particularly the 744. King of the Skies.
36 Paulc: depends on the cabin layout & route - on a 777 you could have 2-5-2 layout so if you get a window you only have 1 person to get past. 747 (in economy)
37 FlyingKangaroo: I really like 777, and have flown on it more times than a 747, although there's nothing like the feeling of sitting in a nice Biz class seat on the up
38 Tasha: I have flown both, and I have to say it really depends... However, I love to fly the 777. My last flight was on a CO 777 to EWR - in coach of course..
39 Koreanair747: For me it would definetely be the B 744! Koreanair747

41 BMAbound: Been on 747's numerous times and would now like to try out the most beautiful plane ever made - the triple seven. johan
42 A330Fan1: Never been on a triple 7 - would be nice to try it out though. -A330Fan1
43 Flymia: Unless the 777 is UA or AA then I would chose the 747-400

46 Jerry1011: Been on both - definitely prefer the 777 - it's just more user friendly!
