Today I'm finalizing my travel, and was curious if having a first class ticket will get me into the Delta Crown room? I'll be traveling through ATL from PDX, and will have about a 3 hour layover probably on my outbound, and closer to 9 or 10 hours coming back to PDX.

Sure it will. Along with $25.00 for a one day trial. Or, depending upon your medallion status you could pony up $125 to $400 for a years membership. Or, you could pony up 40k-75k SkyMiles, once again depending upon your medallion status.
Unfortunately, having a first class ticket just does not get you in. Sorry

interestingly enough, having SkyTeam Elite status with AF and holding a ticket for a same-day international Skyteam flight does.... hope it stays this way....

Well, I'll try being nice at ATL when I arrive. My guess is the place will be pretty empty on a Saturday night. Maybe holding an F ticket, and all will get me in. Otherwise...I'll just ride the train around ATL for a few hours and be an airplane geek....
