I am wondering, which one Jetstar or Virgin Blue do you guys feel is the best? Negative as well as positive information is welcome.

Hi CXfirst,

I am sure you will receive mixed reviews as I guess it's down to personal preference due to good and bad experiences with both airlines.

I have flown with DJ domestically and JQ internationally and domestically. Personally, I prefer DJ over JQ. All JQ flights I have traveled on have been delayed (biggest delay by 14 hours). The flight attendants are comparable. DJ FA's are more jovial and love a joke whereas the JQ FA's get the job done without any party.

You have to pay for food and drink items on both airlines as they are LC carriers.

Perhaps you could fly JQ one way and return with DJ so you too can experience both.

Go Virgin Blue! I would take the choice of any Virgin Airlines!

I've flown both and would say that Virgin Blue is a better product. Jetstar gives you a few more bells and whistles, such as the portable video players that were offered on my flight. But Virgin had a better on-time rate....

Yes i do agree with them...it would be good for ya to fly on Virgin Blue...cabin crews are friendly and beautiful. They were so excited to meet and help pax. JQ is worst I've ever seen. They have lots of fat young cabin crews and the environment/culture is very different to Virgin Blue. They werent friendly to the pax except their workmates. JQ's turnaround time is 15 mins...that's too short...no time to help pax around.
