While replying to the AMS..Spotters heaven thread, I came up with this idea again. It's been a while since we've done this, so I thought starting a new thread on it.
So the question is, how many pics does your hometown airport have here on A.net. Searching is quite straight forward:
* goto search page
* select your airport
* set "Stop searching after" to All,
and the database will give you the answer . . .
Here's a limited top 10 [may be incomplete]:
LHR: 21290
F R A: 17876
ZRH: 17581
AMS: 17112
SYD:14187
LAX: 13617
MAN: 11943
GVA: 7466
JFK: 6942
CDG: 6838
LGW: 5970
Actually, it became a top 11
Can we make this complete?

At RDU we've got 345 and it's slowly increasing. CLT has got 1,386. So I guess we RDU photographers can use that as a little motivation

CMF : 524
LFLE (Chambery 2nd airport) : 88
we are actually in the top 5 of cities in France, due to two stupid and competitive A.net photographers. Unfortrunately for us, LYS is closing in at 498.
Must do something quick !

My hometown airport is ONT (Ontario International)
It has 147 pictures in the database, including a cool overhead shot taken from an aircraft on approach to LAX:

TRI has 287 shots so far. Quite a lot for such a tiny airport.

PBI is South Florida's BEST airport!
25 Continental: MSP: 2,226 Not bad considering we don't have many shooters/spotters around here year round!
