My parents have flew them LHR-JFK-LHR a couple of months ago and gave me a bit of a run down. They were both in the old seats (not Flagship Suites) and have a fair bit of experience in BA F.
-Crews on both legs were superb. New York based and did everything to anticipate their needs. On the outbound their glasses were always being topped up, chatting about their trip to New York with restaurant recommendations etc. Everything that one would expect from an international F crew
-Old seat was actually better from them in many respects for couples, although they found the seat less comfortable than BA F for sleeping.
-Food was nicely presented for the most part although nothing special. They did like the duck breast salad from the cart but thought Uno's Pizza as afternoon snack on LHR-JFK was rather out of place! Can't say I blame them. I have the menu from LHR-JFK flight if you are interested. It is probably completely worthless but just let me know.

Been in both flagship and normal first class and for first class travel, the flagship is very good!!
Service in first is very good as there are like 3 stewards to serve only 16 people and everything is brought to you on a silver plate (flagship it was i think in normal it was on a trolley). Now that they have brought back metal cutlery it makes the experience just a bit better (small things do count!!)
The crew as all friendly and overall a very good service.
