Now i dont mean which aircraft you'd dream of being built or something like that. Its straight-out as to which dreams (the sleeping ones) you've had about any aspect of aviation. It can be anything, just interested to which extent the subconscious level of a.netters has been penetrated by aviation. Looking forward to your input...

My Dream:

Pilots are knocked out unconcious for no apparent reason, FA's find out, ask people in the cabin if they know how to fly? I volunteer due to my experience with flight simulator, i fly the plane safely in a holding pattern why getting some of the key info from the Company, ask them priority for landing and bring the aircraft to a smooth landing, with a nice flare.

For my dream, I'll settle for a world security situation relaxed enough to once again allow jump seat rides......

(about as likely as your dreams I'll grant. Here to stay  Sad )

My school is right under the flight path for arriving LHR flights and I often have a dream that a BD A320 flys low and slow over our school and stalls. It's crashes and leaves many of us trapped inside the building. Parts of my school are collapsed and the only person I'm with is my PE/Geography teacher. His brother is a pilot for FR and it turns out he was flying the plane even though it was a BD A320.
I never see the ending which is worrying  Wink
It's creepy and I have had it about four times.

I only had the usual one, where a 747 suddenly pitches up near SYQ until reaching about 90° nose up attitude, and then pitches down 180° to crash nose first on the airfield.

I have had a lot of aviation dreams, i would say that 90% involve a plane crash and most involve me in the plane when it crashes. Last night I had a dream that I was in the N terminal at SEA and i was watching as 2 planes were taking off and 1 plane was landing on SEA 3 parallel runways. the plane landing was an AS 737-900 and the 2 taking off were an AS 737-700 and a TWA 737-800 (no winglets and in classic red stripes) it was really crappy weather, dark skies, rain widshear. anyway the TWA took forever to get off the ground then it pitched up really fast and thw wings began to rock back and forth, then the plane plummeted back to the ground. this was one of the few dreams where i wasnt in the plane.

I had a (probably Freudian) bad dream about trying to get back on a flight after a transit stop and realising I was completely naked, with all my clothes and documents on the plane, and being unable to get back through security. Hope it never comes true!

Be a founder of an airline in the large scale. Hubs in Delhi, Paris, Sydney, HKG, SIN ... all the major hubs. The only airline to operate

I am a teenager so I have dreams which may remain a dream

My dream which I feel I can conquer is to be a pilot working for a huge airline e.g. Emirates

The A.NET nickname says it all. I want to one day serve as a pilot in the Canadian Air Force. Endless dreams about this .  Smile Fly about 500ft and pull a minimum radius turn... what could be more exciting?

Even though I can't serve in the air force because my vision isn't good enough,
I have a lot of dreams like this.

Then I have this re-accuring dream, I have it about twice a week on average and
I hate to wake up from it. Some things change occasionally but it usually
follows along these lines.

-I graduate grade 12
-I go to BCIT and take the commercial pilot course
-I get hired by QX and everything is just great!
-I sit down in the cockpit of a Q200 and I am so happy I finally made it
after all my hard work
-I take off from YYJ then abruptly wake up for some reason.

It's never gone any further than that but I'm always mad when I wake up and it was a dream.

Then sometimes I have dreams that the Concorde is flying again.
I wish it was true.

I frequently dream about flying. Often I dream about check-in where I have only a minute or less to make the gate or I'm having to repack my bags. I also dream about being on the a/c itself and usually it's a heck of a lot different from reality, where, for example there are wooden deck chairs(!) instead of proper seats and so on. I rarely see other passengers (unless I'm dreaming I'm in a long check in queue!) and never see any crew.

Would be interesting to have a shrink look into these...explore the deeper meaning... wooden deck chairs *pfft* thats just silly! As for the naked dream, hmmm LOL! hahahaha... that is seriously screwed up... i laughed so hard... hahaha... (even though i must admit i had a very similar dream once, but that involved school, the principal, and dead puppies, but i dont wanna go into detail...)

post away,

Dreams? Oh, cute. (NOT ordered by rank.)

(1) Of course, it'd be great if I got to land an airliner sometime, but I'd rather do that in a simulator so no lives are at risk. Give me oodles more money, and I could get my ATP and check out in one. That'd be great. But I'm not into being an actual airline pilot.

(2) to be a flight attendant for a major.

(3) For Bruce Willis to be the captain! (Just kidding!)

For in truth, I've already achieved most of my aviation dreams: to just be up there at all; to be a CFI; to sleep under the wing at a sleepy airport on a looong cross-country flight; to have the respect of my peers at it; to see a hundred things most people have not dreamed of; to live a life smelling kerosene and know people who constantly share fascinating things about aircraft; to travel half the world (other half is next); to experience other cultures and languages, greet people in their own language; to marry a man who also loves aviation, travel, and who is also knowledgeable about flight.

I am planning (already) to do a dual degree of aerospace engineering and commerce at Monash university in Melbourne, or do a bachelor of aviation and/or bachelor of science (aviation) at Edith Cowan University here in Perth.
