Let's start a new game! Let's pretend that you are the manager of an airport in the world. The game is simple, we take an airport and change it every week and we let our imagination flow regarding what airlines we would like to attract to it besides the ones that flies there today. What routes they would be flying, the frequency and the equipment and the most important thing, the reason why we choose them.
Let's start with ARN
Equip: Airbus 340-300
Reason: I think Stockholm is in great need for a direct flight to TYO and considering that ARN is a Star Alliance hub NH would be the best carrier.
Equip: Boeing 777-200LR
Reason: Australia has become very popular among Swedes and what coud be better then having the airline whit the best HUB for enetering OZ serving ARN?
Route: IAD-ARN SFO-ARN
Equip: Airbus 330-300 (IAD) Boeing 777-200 (SFO)
Freq: IAD: Daily SFO: 4x/week
Reason: US is exploding as a destination from Sweden, we need more! IAD and SFO would be great to connect to UA's net in the US of A

Reason: There are many demmand here in BCN of an airline to connect worldwide, especially with Africa and Asia, due to the great number of companies radicated in Catalonia. As a start flight, with AB6 equipment we will have enough.
Route: BCN-JFK / BCN-MEX / BCN-EZE / BCN-ORD / BCN-SJO / BCN-SCL,...
Equip: Airbus A340-300 / -600
Freq: Depend the route
Reason: BCN is the economic engine of Spain. There are many travellers with the obligation to visit MAD to reach any South American city. It's a shame to listen the words of Fernando Conte (IB CEO) telling that BCN has not enough demmand to send any widebody aircraft except in the Puente Aereo (gilipollas)
Equip: Boeing 767-300
Freq: Three times a week
Reason: many Catalonian companies has business interests in China. If BUD and BRU has got direct flights of this airline with great load factors, why not BCN?
Equip: Avro RJ-100
Freq: Two daily flights
Reason: BCN has flights to all airports in London except LCY. MAD has the monopole in this route. Why not BCN? Flight to UK departs always fully booked.

Many Korean tourists visit Israel (particularly Christian groups), and Korea and Israel have a large amount of business between them. Direct flights were stopped several years ago.

Twice/Thrice a week
Argentina is Israel's biggest trading partner in Latin America and there is a very large Argentinian Jewish and Israeli community in Buenos Aires.
The sky is the limit as long as you can stay there

Freq: Daily (leaving DXB in the 8am European departures bank)
Reason: Provide connectivity to residents of the UK Southwest and Wales
Equip: Airbus A340-600
Freq: Daily (in addition to the already existing daily flight)
Reason: The current daily flight leaves LHR at 8pm to arrive in DXB 7am in the morning. This second daily would leave LHR at around 2pm, arrive in DXB at midnight and make it back to LHR in the 6-7am arrival peak time. And VS wants to launch this route already!
Equip: Airbus A330-243
Reason: EK does not serve AMS, and this could help provide connectivity to Belgian and Dutch passengers.

Route: YQQ - SEA
Equip: Dash 8-100
Freq: 3 x Daily
Reason: The Comox Valley Airport is in strong need of a first direct US service, and the local economy needs a nearby Int'l business partner without having to drive for 6-7 hours.
Route: YQQ - LAX
Equip: Boeing 737-700
Freq: 2 x Weekly
Reason: Parent of Airline Suggested above, and, as a growing retirement area, hundreds of people every week drive to Vancouver (4 hours) to catch a YVR - LAX flight. A direct service from YQQ to LAX would be very well utilized and Profitable.
