Ok, We have a topic for the longest flight in the same time zone.

So,
How about the shortest flight between 2 zones.

I'll start with Guernsey (GCI) to Dinard(DIN) 30 minutes on a Trislander, I do this most weeks. GCI is British Time and DIN is European time.

Sorry I missed out the distance, it's 56 miles

At 85 miles, MKE-MKG has got to be up there, though ORD-SBN actually has it beaten by a mile.

Lyddair operate several services between Lydd and Le Touquet in France; scheduled flying time of 30 minutes and a distance of just 43 miles. You can get a return for about £90, which isn't bad!

Eagle doesn't serve SBN, it's a UAX route that I have flown a number of times. The quickest being departure SBN 27L, immediately intercept ILS 27L at ORD. Takeoff to touchdown, roughly 12-15 minutes if I recall.

With the time required to check in, board, taxi, fly, land, taxi to the gate, collect luggage, I'd assume driving would be faster!

CYQT-CYHD 185 statute miles. About 30 minutes in the air, IIRC last time I took it with Nordair

Ok, wait for the RJ to pass, cleared to push tail south Mike, and you're cleared to spin #2 in the push.

No Phoenix is in the Mountain Time Zone, and remains on Standard Time year around. The Northeast corner of the state goes go to DT with the rest of the country as the Navajo's headquarters is in New Mexico.

You are right, I guess I should know that, but all I need to know is... LAX and SFO are PST, DEN is MST, ORD is CST, and IAD is EST (All the UA Hubs).
