Hello all of you aviation geniuses. I just booked a return trip from Denver to Auckland on October 31st of this year and I would like some help. I cannot find any trip reports for Air New Zealand flights from LAX-AKL or much information on the service, seats, etc. on Air New Zealand.
My actual itinerary is DEN-LAX-AKL-CHC-AKL-YVR-DEN (on UA and ANZ). I can't wait to get down there!!!
Could someone help point me in the right direction as to where I can find some good objective information on what I can generally expect in Economy on the 744 from LAX-AKL, then in Business on the 772 from AKL-YVR? I would really appreciate it.

All B772 and 744 have Virgin style suites in business class (ie: lie flat beds). Many NZ AKl -LAX flights continue on to LHR. Economy has AVOD on demand and the B744 were only upgraded last year. All the 772ERs are also new purchases.

Here is a trip report about a 777 in business premeir flying AKL-SFO. I really enjoyed it.
You should have a great trip. In LAX you'll have to switch terminals though which can be a challenge. If you have checked luggage, make sure it is tagged to your final destination (UA can do this even if it is a separate itinerary). You have to go from terminal 7 to terminal 2. There's a bus, or you can walk through the middle of the airport and around the parking garage. Check out a map.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!
