I will be flying to Berlin from Newark and was wondering what can I expect to find on this flight in terms of entertainment. I will be sitting in coach since the company won't spring for the good seats. Also are there any seats I should avoid on the 757. This will be my first time flying to Europe so I don't really know what to expect so thanks for the help.

Meals should be standard econ fare, I think you have to fork over $5 for a beer. No IFE just monitors down the middle aisle. Seat pitch average for 757. Best bet check seatguru.com for more details. Enjoy your trip.

Your entertainment will be the movie overhead and whatever else you decide to bring on your flight. Or you just might want to snooze your way across the pond since there wont really be much to do.
Movies in April to Germany on CO-
To Germany and Zurich: Casino Royale/Night at the Museum
From Germany and Zurich: Happy Feet/The Saint/Stranger Than Fiction
In addition you will be provided with two meals each way: Most likely a chicken/ beef selection when you take off and a croissant and juice when you land
Coming back you'll get the same type of set up except a small hot sandwich before you land.
If you didn't know- going there is about an hour shorter because of the jet stream head winds/ tail winds.
It should be an enjoyable flight. I like the 757s there a nice ride and despite the common criticism it's just as much room as any other plane.

Thanks for all the info. I'm actually not going until June but I bought my ticket today and was curious about what to expect. Never spent 8+ hours on a plane before so that should be interesting. Thanks again.
