I'd like too, but I haven't been there since 2005, when I was given the chance to fly the aircraft for which my username was based (there is a story behind that).

If I don't go, do me (us) a favor: give us a thread loaded with photos of the 2007 AirVenture  bigthumbsup

Im not gonna make it this year. (I did Sun n Fun this year though, that was a blast)

Next year I hope to be there as a controller (the guys in the pink shirts). The FAA sends a bunch of us up there for the show to work. (Its awesome, they fly us there, they give us a place to stay...AND we get paid Big grin )

See ya there in '08!

I'm there every year, and have been since I was 3. The days I go depends on the airshow schedule, my work schedule, and if I volunteer for Aeroscholars.

So, is Oshkosh sort of a runner up prize? Hell, when I was in the Air Cadets all they did was send us down to Montana for a weekend ....  Big grin

Anyway, I've never been to Oshkosh and won't be going this year sadly.

I'll be goin' for power next year. I'll be too tall, and too heavy for glider. Big grin

What the heck is in Montana that an Air Cadet would want to see?  Wink

Malstrom AFB in Great Falls. Got to go in a missile silo and sit in an F-16 and F-101. Lot's of fun, especially when we ransacked the barracks at CFB Calgary on one of our overnights. We had to do 3 hours of drill the next morning as a result, before breakfast .....  grumpy

The best "day" hmmm... As far as I am concerned there is WAY to much to see to see it in one day. Try at least 3 days. At the very least.

This is the first year I am going to be helping with line service. I can't wait to do some directing there. I do some here at work, but no where near the amount of traffic as we do here at GWB. I can't wait till July 27th!
